Alone on a Wide Wide Sea

I was delighted to write and perform some music on the BBC Radio 2 adaptation of Michael Morpurgo’s best-selling child migration novel ‘Alone on a Wide Wide Sea’, Michael also wrote War Horse. The four part play was broadcast last week in 30 minute episodes during the Jeremy Vine Show and stars Jason Donovan, Toby Jones (Harry Potter) & our eldest daughter Molly Mae who plays a Cockney Kid who sings on all four Programmes – VERY proud Parents! I also played on the brand new BBC Radio 2 Radio Ballad ‘The Great War’ to be aired in November. The programme features songs by Karine Polwart, Kris Drever, Sam Kelly, Seth Lakeman…
